Me as gamer - I do not understand sucess of souls-like games.

All I can think is - FromSoftware educated and make gamers used to Souls-gamelay and Elden Ring just fit expectations of audience, that FromSoftware educated for more than 10 years.

This why I dont see any logic in success of Elden Ring, and all gameplay moments in Elden Ring "good" only because audience was expecting it.

Studing and implementing gameplay from Souls games in any other game will result negative response from ultra-casual audience and negative from Souls-fans because they expect Souls gameplay only from one company FromSoftware.
